Dr Johnson on Success

Samuel Johnson grew up poor and handicapped in 18th Century England. He was also brilliant and determined to be independent. Son of a bookseller, Johnson was a voracious reader.

While attending Oxford, young Samuel was mortified when a fellow student left a pair of shoes on the doorstep one night after noticing the condition of his tattered shoes. He dropped out of Oxford after a year, unable to pay his tuition.

Get Rich from Your Writing

The title above may be considered by someone to be too much as we know to get a  decent living from writing alone is rather difficult. Perhaps you know a writer whose life was difficult because all rely on fees from writing alone. The title above is not making it up. Many writers can become rich but there are several requirements that must be met if you want to get rich from writing, or at least live well off of writing.

1. You are writing a book sold well.
